Newstead Bed and Breakfast is set in a quiet rural location right on the edge of theCrieff Hydro Hotel estate and within 10 minutes walk of Crieff town centre. Knock Castle Hotel and Spa is right opposite us and we regularly have guests who are attending weddings at these local hotels. Free parking and Wi Fi available. We are a small family run business situated in the middle floor of a traditional stone villa, circa 1884. All our rooms combine the elegance of the past, high ceilings, cornices and large windows, sofas and chairs to enable you to relax and enjoy the views across the rooftops to the hills. We offer all the modern conveniences of today, central heating throughout, en-suite facilities, bathroom with power shower and a beautiful large bath where you can ease away any aches and pains at the end of the day. Rates include a full cooked Scottish breakfast that will set you up for the day and packed lunches are available on request.Crieff is known as the Gateway to the Highlands and there are a wealth of activities on offer in and around Crieff. It is also an ideal base for those who want to explore further afield, Edinburgh and Glasgow are an hours drive away. Golfers are well catered for play on our local courses in Crieff or at the famous Gleneagles course a short 20 minute drive away. Fishing, cycling and walking are available on our doorstep.
