Directions

From Glasgow and Edinburgh head towards Stirling on the M9. Having bye-passed Stirling city and castle, take the A9 north towards Perth. Within 7 miles of Stirling, take the tourist route brown sign-posted A822 towards Pitlochry and you follow through the historical wee towns of Braco and Muthill before coming to Crieff and birth place of Ewen McGregor. On entering the speed zone of Crieff you pass over the River Earn bridge and James Cottage is suitably located within 600 metres of the bridge on the left-hand side of the road and within a 5-minute walk of the town centre where there is an abundance of pubs, shops and restaurant for the engaging visitor.
